Finmo AI Document Verification is built and maintained by Lendesk using Anthropic's AI models. All client information and personally identifiable information (PII) processed through Finmo AI is protected by the same security controls, access restrictions, and governance standards applied throughout Finmo.

How does Finmo AI handle client data?

When running a document verification, brokers choose which files from a deal should be analyzed. Those documents are securely transmitted to Anthropic for processing, and the verification results are returned and stored within Finmo.

Anthropic data protection measures

Finmo AI uses Anthropic's commercial API, which includes several important privacy and security protections:

Encrypted data transmission

All data sent between Finmo and Anthropic is encrypted in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security).

No AI model training

Anthropic does not use customer-submitted data to train its AI models when using its commercial API services.

Limited data retention

Prompt and response data is retained only as long as necessary to operate and secure the service.

No data sales

Anthropic does not sell customer data to third parties.

Is my data safe when using Finmo AI?

Yes. Finmo AI is designed with security and privacy in mind.

  • All deal data and documents stored within Finmo remain in Canada.

  • Documents are only shared with Anthropic for the purpose of completing the requested AI verification.

  • Anthropic does not train its models using your data.

  • Anthropic maintains a limited retention policy and deletes customer data according to its commercial API terms.

  • Finmo continues to apply its existing security controls, access management, and compliance standards throughout the process.

While Finmo AI leverages third-party AI services, all customer data remains subject to Finmo's security and governance practices.
