How to enable high-risk notifications
Important: You must be designated as a compliance manager on Finmo in order to enable high-risk notifications
To receive these alerts:
1. Sign in to your Finmo account.
2. Click on your picture or initials on the bottom left corner.
3. Select Your account.
4. Then choose Notifications.
5. Move the toggle to Yes to enable High-risk notifications.
6. Click on Save changes.
Once enabled, Finmo will email you whenever the overall risk level of a deal in your brokerage is changed to High. Please note that other compliance officers who want to receive these alerts will need to enable the notification in their own accounts.
What happens when a deal is flagged as high risk?
The overall risk level of a deal is managed in the Fraud and risk assessment section of the application. When the risk level is changed to High and the changes are saved, Finmo sends an email to compliance officers who have enabled high-risk notifications.
The email lets you know that a deal is waiting for review and includes available details about the application.
How to review a high-risk deal
From the email notification:
1. Select Review deal. Finmo will open the compliance review for that application.
2. Review the application summary and other important mortgage details.
3. Review the uploaded documents and any other information needed for your compliance assessment.
You can also select view the full application in the Compliance section when you need to review the complete application.
