Once insurance activation has been done by the Finmo team to "turn on" the Insurance Portal for you, your Finmo dashboard will look a little different. You will now see a heading called "Insurance" on the menu when you've clicked into a deal.
Click on Insurance and you will be taken to the Insurance referral portal.
Now select the insurance referral link of the mortgage professional on the deal and simply click "Invite borrower to get home insurance". You can even customize your message to your customer if you'd like.
After you have done this, simply click on the "Invite Borrower to get home insurance" button and the invitation will be sent with a link to get started to your customer.
Nuera Insurance does the rest
When the invite is sent, your client will be directed to Nuera Insurance's online platform which handles the quote, fulfillment, and sales support to make sure your borrower gets everything they need.
What the Borrower Sees
Nuera Insurance is an online portal, similar to Finmo in that it is a quick questionnaire. Your customer receives a quote almost instantly and can even pay quarterly or yearly right away by credit card.
