Finmo allows most standard image formats to be uploaded as well as PDFs:

  • pdf

  • jpg (or jpeg)

  • tif

  • jfif

  • tiff

  • png

  • gif

  • webp

  • bmp

NOTE: Password protected PDFs are not supported in Finmo, you must remove the password before uploading. If you or any of your borrowers need to do this follow the steps below. Please be advised that you must know the password to the file in order to do this.

How to remove a password from a document using Google Chrome

Step 1: Open the file using Google Chrome instead of your default PDF application by right-clicking on the PDF file and selecting “Google Chrome” from the “Open with” menu.

Step 2: Enter the password.

Step 3: Once you are viewing your unlocked PDF click on the “Print” icon on the top right corner or hit Ctrl + P on your keyboard (or Command + P if you are on Mac OS).

Step 4: Where it says “Destination” instead of choosing a printer select the option to “Save as PDF”.

Step 5: Save your file and you are good to go! You can now upload this document into Finmo.
