What does my borrower see and how do I sign and find the form?

1. Your client starts their application

Your client opens your online application link and selects Sign Up to get started.

When they indicate that they’re purchasing a property in British Columbia, Finmo prompts them to read and sign the disclosure form before proceeding.

2. Your client reviews and signs Form 1A

Your client opens the form from the prompt, reviews it, and scrolls to the bottom to sign and confirm.

The form opens in the portal immediately for signing.

Once your client has signed, you’ll receive an email requesting your signature.

3. Complete your broker signature

Open the signing request email and:

  1. Click E-sign documents now.

  2. Review the document in OneSpan Sign.

  3. Scroll to your signature field and sign.

  4. Select Done, then confirm.

Both the client and broker signatures are now complete.

4. Find the signed form in Finmo

Open the client’s deal and go to the E-signing section to find the signed Form 1A.

If the new deal hasn’t appeared yet, refresh your deal list.

5. Add the form to your compliance documents

To make the signed form available for your deal’s compliance review:

  1. Open the Compliance section of the deal.

  2. Go to Required documents.

  3. Select the appropriate document entry.

  4. Choose the signed Form 1A from the e-sign request.

  5. Click Save.

The form is now attached in the deal’s Compliance section, ready for review when you submit the deal for a compliance check.
