How to activate your Lender Spotlight with your Finmo account

If you currently have a Finmo account you are eligible to receive Lender Spotlight Platinum for free ($49 / month value). To take advantage of this, you will either need to connect your existing Lender Spotlight account or sign up for Lender Spotlight.

How to activate if you already have a Lender Spotlight account

Your first step is to connect your two accounts, so that you can take advantage of the savings. You can do this by linking your two accounts.

1. If you haven't already connected an account previously to Finmo, click on the Spotlight icon on the left menu.

2. A pop-up will appear.

3. Click on "Connect your accounts now"

4. You will be taken to the Lender Spotlight log-in page where you can sign-in as usual. Once signed in you will be asked to connect your accounts.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Spotlight is accessed with a social media log-in such as gmail, facebook or linked in. Regardless of your log-in email on Finmo you must log in with the social media account you had previously logged into on Spotlight in order to connect to that account.

5. Click on "Connect accounts" and you will receive Lender Spotlight Platinum for free If you're part of a Lender Spotlight Platinum team, once you connect your accounts you will continue to pay as you have in Lender Spotlight and not be billed in Finmo.

Note: If you have a Lender Spotlight Platinum solo account (pay $49/month), once you connect your accounts, you will need to enter your credit card details into the Finmo billing tab if you haven't already. Following that, you will no longer be charged in Spotlight for Platinum and your billing will switch over to Finmo.


How to verify your Lender Spotlight and Finmo accounts are connected

1. Click on your picture or initials on the left menu

2. Select "Your account"

3. Choose "Lender Spotlight settings" on the left menu. If you haven't connected your accounts you will see the following:

5. Log into Spotlight as usual using the social media account you previously had used or if you haven't created an account yet, select a social media account to log-in with and select "Connect my account"

6. If you have an account connected you will see the connection on Finmo:


How to connect a Finmo account if you don't yet have a Lender Spotlight account

As a Finmo user you get Spotlight for free! Your first step is to connect your two accounts, so that you can take advantage of the savings. You can do this by linking your two accounts.

4. You will be taken to the Lender Spotlight log-in page where you can create an account. Once signed in you will be asked to connect your accounts and you will receive Lender Spotlight Platinum for free.

Regardless of your log-in email on Finmo you must log in with the social media account you had previously logged into on Spotlight in order to connect to that account. If you haven't yet created an account, select one and log-in. A Spotlight account will be created for you. This is how you will log-in going forward.

How do I change the Spotlight account I have connected to Finmo?

I have a Spotlight Platinum Solo account or am part of a Spotlight Platinum team but do not have a Finmo account, how do I sign up to Finmo and do we get a subscription for free?

The first step is to sign up for a Finmo account. Once you do that, you can connect your accounts and Finmo will be free. You will be asked to enter your credit card info on Finmo and your billing will switch over to Finmo.

If you're part of a brokerage on Lender Spotlight Platinum, you will continue to pay as you always have in Lender Spotlight and will get Finmo Pro for free.

What if I add more team members on my Finmo team, will they also get Spotlight for free?

Each Finmo team member will need to connect their own account to Lender Spotlight Platinum to redeem the free offer.
