With Finmo, you can send your borrower's documents directly to Strive. Make sure you mark them as one of your favourite lenders in your team settings!

Once you have obtained the documents you've requested from your borrower(s) on Finmo, when you're ready to submit, it's simple to upload and send them along with your submission to Strive. Don't worry if you haven't received all the documents, as you can always go back into your submission later and add and send any documents that come in.

Tip: Make sure you have marked the documents you wish to include as "Accepted" in the document section of the application, as this is required for submission.

How to attach documents to a submission, step-by-step instructions

  1. Ensure the document you wish to submit is marked as "Accepted" in the "Documents" section of the Application.

2. Choose "Strive" as the lender you wish to submit to in the "Submit" section.

3. Complete your submission details as usual and finalize your submission notes.

Scroll down to the "Documents" section of the submission. You will see a list of all the accepted documents you have received here. If you wish to include them all, scroll down to the bottom of the submission and click on "Submit to the lender." If you want to remove documents from the list, click "Edit details."

  • On the name of the doc you wish to not include in your submission, click the "+" to expand the card or choose "Expand all."

  • Choose "Unselect all" or remove the checkbox from the document you don't want to include.

4. Enter any document submission notes you’d like into the “Document submission note” field

5. Click on "Save changes"

You will now see that the document won't be included in your submission package.

4. If you are ready to submit to the lender, scroll down to the "Submit" section and click the green "Submit to lender" button.

How to submit documents after the deal has been submitted to the lender

  2. Select the submission that you wish to attach more documents

  3. Scroll down to "Documents"

  5. Check off the box to "Select all."

  6. Click on "Save details."

7. Click on the green "Submit documents" button, and just the new documents will be sent to the lender.
