✅ When you first log-in to FInmo you will see a "Get started with Finmo" announcement prompting you to complete some steps to get you and your team set-up to submit directly to lenders. Once you have completed the first three steps you are ready to complete your submission profile. If you are not a team administrator on Finmo and have been invited to join a team, please go to this section.

How to set-up your team's submission profile (team admins only)

1. Click the "+" sign to open step four on your dashboard and then click on "Complete your submission profile" button.

2. Enter your information in the relevant sections including your "Personal details" such as your Expert Profile ID and your License number

3. Enter your Team details, Brokerage details and your Filogix Expert details (firm code). Your firm code already will be populated but if you wish to change it you can click on "Request Filogix Expert firm code change" and we will update it for you.

4. Enter your Equifax details (member code & security code). If you are linked to a brokerage submitting on Finmo that already has the Equifax credentials entered you will not be asked to enter them for the team.

Tip: If you don't know your Equifax details please use this help article to show you how to obtain them.

5. Next enter "Submission agents" by clicking on "Add submission agent"

Note: If you're linked to a brokerage submitting on Finmo that already has the submission agents entered you will see them listed. If you wish to add additional submission agents such as yourself or a member of your team click on "Add submission agent". Get additional help about submission agents.

6. Fill in the required information. Note: You will have to obtain the submissions agents contact information, Expert ID and License number in order to save them as a submission agent

Any submission agents added by you will display all their details. Submission agents added by your brokerage will only display their names.

7. Make sure you click on "Save changes and mark as reviewed" after you complete every section.

Once all the steps have been marked as completed the announcement on your dashboard will change

Important: If you do need to come back and edit this information in the future, you can access this by clicking the gear icon on the left menu and selecting "Submission profile".

How to find and add the Broker/Agent license number and Expert Profile Number

  • Broker/Agent license number: please provide your provincial license number. If you are unsure or do not have one, please select "I don't have one".

  • Expert Profile Number: The profile number is your distinct account identifier in Expert. When logged into Filogix, you will see it under your "User" information:

An important note about Expert Profile Numbers:

You cannot use someone else’s Expert Profile Number. This number is used by lenders to correctly attribute deals and process payments to brokers, and therefore it must be unique to you.

If you do not have your own Expert Profile, please select "I don't have one". Please note that if you do not have this information, you won’t be able to be listed as an agent on the deal when submitting deals to a lender.

🚫 Note: Some lenders require additional identity verification and this may take 3 to 7 business days to complete.
