Finmo allows you to import your past deals from Scarlett using a CSV file. This means any past deals you had in Scarlett can be be moved into Finmo and easily accessible. Follow the steps below to take advantage of this time-saving feature. Imported applications are marked as "import" to ensure the source is clear and not to cause confusion with other inbound applications. The first step is downloading your deals in Filogix. The rest is simple :)

How to download your deals into a CSV file from Scarlett

In Scarlett:

  1. Go to the Tools section

  2. Click on Export

  3. Select your name from the drop down "Agent" list

  4. Then choose the criteria. In this example we are selecting 'application entry date'

  5. Click on the "Export Now"button

  6. Download the CSV & save it to somewhere you can find it.

NOTE: DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE FILE

  7. Now upload the csv file into your account on Finmo

In Finmo:

  1. Click on your picture or initials on the bottom left menu and select "Your account"

  2. Select "Deal Import" and click on the "Import deals" button

  3. A pop-up will open, asking you to select the CSV file you wish to import. You can drag and drop the file, click "Choose file," select the file from a folder to upload, and click "Continue with Import."

NOTE: It is HIGHLY recommended that you check off the box to have the deals imported and put into "Archived" deals instead of your deal dashboard.

IMPORTANT: Do not modify the CSV file headers. It must be uploaded precisely as you exported it from Scarlett. You can add data to a cell so long as it is formatted correctly.

4. That's it! Your file will now be imported into Finmo. It may take some time to import if it's a large file (3,000 deals or less). You will receive a notification from Finmo when the upload is complete.

You can find those imported deals by going to your deal dashboard and filtering on "Archived deals"

NOTE: If you are an "Organization Admin" on Finmo Control Centre, you must choose which team to import the file to.

IMPORTANT

You must copy a deal that was uploaded to Finmo in order to submit it because it has to be presented with the corresponding Finmo Application ID. For example, an uploaded deal could be ABCD-123456. When you copy this deal, it will then create a unique Application ID for Finmo, such as ABCD-F654321.
