When borrowers upload multiple files to a single document request, they may not always arrive in the order you need. This article explains how to rearrange uploaded files within a document request in Finmo, so you can control the order they're displayed and the order they appear in any merged PDF download. There are two ways to do this on Finmo.
Important: Only visible files will appear in the list of documents available for re-ordering. Hidden files cannot be reordered.
How to drag and drop the documents in the order you want them
1. Open the deal you wish to work on and select "Documents". Click the document request you wish to re-organize and locate the file(s) you want to move.
2. Click and hold the file card.
3. Drag it to the position you want in the list — a visual indicator will show where it will land.
4. Release to drop it. The new order saves automatically.
Note: Any previously generated combined PDF for the document request will be refreshed the next time it's downloaded, so it always reflects the current order.
How to move documents using the up and down arrows
1. Open the deal you wish to work on and select "Documents". Click the document request you wish to re-organize and locate the file(s) you want to move
2. Click the ▲ arrow on a file card to move it up one position, or the ▼ arrow to move it down.
3. Repeat until the file is in the right position. The order saves automatically after each move.
Note: The ▲ arrow is disabled for the first file in the list, and the ▼ arrow is disabled for the last. Any previously generated combined PDF for the document request will be refreshed the next time it's downloaded, so it always reflects the current order.
